Safely Replace that Flat Tire on Your Vehicle

The following guide should help you to change your flat tire with the spare in no time at all.
  1. If the car is stuck on the road, safely ride on the rim far enough to get out of oncoming traffic.
  2. Use the tire lug wrench to get the lugs on the flat tire loose enough, but leave them on the bolts.
  3. Use the car jack to raise the vehicle high enough so the tire is clear from the road.
  4. Remove the lug nuts, safely pull the flat tire off the bolts, set aside.
  5. Place the spare on the tire bolts and tighten all the lug nuts until they are snug.
  6. Jack the car back down, tighten all the nuts and place the tools and the flat tire in your car before driving away.
See us at Monroeville Chrysler Jeep after the tire has been changed so we can inspect all the tires for any signs of trouble that could lead to failure too.
